HISTORY
The East Coast Amateur Championship Show was first held at Frying Pan Park in Fairfax, Virginia in 1992. Encouraged by the success of that two-day show, the Show Committee received permission from AQHA to shift the dates from September to April and to move the location to Lexington. To our delight, the show doubled in size. Although Amateurs continue to remain a major focus of the event, the Show Committee decided in 1998 to change the name to the East Coast Championship Show. We are proud of the steady growth of our show. We thank the exhibitors, owners, and trainers for making the East Coast Championship such a great show and a terrific experience, we hope, for everybody.

LIABILITY
The Virginia Horse Center, the ECC Show Staff, VQHA Region 1, VQHA, AQHA, and their agents, servants, or employees are not responsible for any loss or damage.
